Analytical Balances

Analytical Balances are ideal for precision weighing the mass or weight of substances in the laboratory or pharmaceutical industry, with a precision/capacity ratio of 1/500,000 or better and a readability of 0.1mg or better. They are set apart from other weighing devices by the transparent measuring pan which ensures that you avoid collecting dust, and also avoids any air currents within the room affecting the balance's operation.

Analytical Balances will measure the force needed to counter the mass being measured rather than the actual mass. They use an electromagnet to generate a force to counter the sample being measured and output the result by measuring the force needed to achieve balance.
