Svan 979 Sound Level Meter and Analyser

The SVAN 979 Sound Level Meter and Analyser is one of the most powerful sound level meters ever made with some outstanding features in a level meter that still remains easy to use.

As an incredibly accurate sound meter that features a colour screen, very high dynamic range and real-time recording of noise during measurements make the SVAN979 one of the most sought after sound meters for a wide variety of uses, from noise at work to environment monitoring.

Using three parallel profiles the SVAN 979 can measure values such as Leq, LMax, LMin, LPeak, Spl, SEL or RMS using different weighting filters at the same. Ideal for times when measurement comparison is required.

Featuring Time-Domain Signal Recording, the SVAN979 can record audio direct to a micro SD flash card in WAV format so noises can be replayed during analysis to help identify the source.

Communications with a PC have never been easier with a sound level meter. The SVAN979 has built in USB connections which allows for download of data for analysis and also means the sound meter can be directly controlled and set up via the PC. As an optional extra the SvanPC+_VR software will extend the functionality of the SVAN979 sound meter with remote communction via GPRS, LAN or WLAN connections. The SvanPC+_EV Software adds environmental monitoring data processing.
