This is the DCF200 Dead Circuit Finder and it has bright, easy to read LED's and clear audible indication. It provides error free testing and enables you to find a dead circuit fast.
The applications of this instrument are: fuse finding which allows you to find which fuse is feeding the dead circuit as well as finding a circuit by identifying the individual conductor. Another application is wire tracing which allows you to trace wires through floors and walls as well as tracing cables up to 50cm away. Wire picking allows you to pick the correct wire from a bundle or loom and wire break detection lets you locate a break in a wire. There is an internal battery 9v cell operation for both the transmitter and receiver.
The transmitter feature include simple operation by a single button as well as low battery indication. It is battery powered and does not use mains supply. This product works with or without an earth and it drives long cables. There is a warning of short circuit or potentially hazardous voltages and it is protected against accidental mains connection up to 440V. It also includes an auto power-off function.

It automatically adjusts to received signal strength and there are no fiddly volume wheels or range buttons.
