Ohaus Scout STX Series Balance - 170 x 140mm Platform
This is the Scout STX Series Balance which is ideal for laboratory and industrial applications. They feature an easy to navigate colour touchscreen display and a slim design which allows stackable storage. It is geared for superior performance with fast stabilisation time and high resolution weighing results, these portable balances set a new standard for a broad range of weighing applications. The features also include superior overload protection and expanded connectivity options.
There is a large, resilient colour touchscreen which allows for effortless operation of the Scout through its informative icon driven menu structure and guides the user through every step of the weighing application. They also have a stabilisation time as fast as 1 second which means increased productivity in your facility. The Scout is equipped with advanced weighing technology and also ensures repeatable and reliable weighing results. The integrated superior overload protection system is rated at 10 times the capacity which protects the balance in rugged and demanding environments. It has a space-saving, slim design which allows for stackable storage.
The display is a 4.3” (109mm) full-colour VGA graphic touchscreen display with user-controlled brightness. Operation is via an AC adapter (included) or 4 AA batteries (not included). Communication is via RS232 or USB Host or a USB Device or Ethernet or Bluetooth (all available as an accessory). The Scout has been constructed using ABS housing, a stainless steel pan, an ABS draftshield (1mg models only), weigh below hook, a transportation lock, a manual calibration lock switch, a security slot, adjustable levelling feet and an illuminated up-front level indicator.
