This is the Triple Beam Pro mechanical balance which is accurate, dependable and truly the best in class. It offers the convenience of a top loading balance whilst allowing students to gain the understanding of measurement garnered through hands-on activities.
Effortless movement around the classroom is allowed because of the ergonomically designed, unique, easy-grip carrying handle. You can store the weight set in the convenient compartment when it's not in use which prevents the weights from becoming lost. A security loop or Kensington-type lock (sold separately) allow the balance to be secured to a desk or bench top which prevents theft and accidental dropping.
It is constructed using a metal base and beam and a stainless steel pan. The display is easy-to-read and deep notched with tiered beams and dial plates. It has positive poise positioning and a spring loaded zero adjust compensator. There is magnetic dampening which minimizes oscillation and speed weighing and there is a self-aligning beam.
