The Therma 1, 3 and Elite are digital thermometers that are easy to use, and operate through the range of -100 to 1370 °C with a 0.1 °C or 1 °C resolution.
These thermometers are housed in a durable ABS case, that contains an additive called 'Biomaster' which helps to reduce bacterial growth. Therma 1 and 3 feature a large, easy to read LCD display with open circuit 'Err' and low battery indication. Each of these thermometers are powered by three 1.5 volt AAA batteries, this gives a minimum of five years battery life.
Another feature of these thermometers is that the units will power off automatically after ten minutes, this maximises battery life. However, this feature can be disabled by the user if they require.
ETI offer an extensive range of interchangeable thermocouple type K probes for a variety of different applications. The Therma 1 is priced excluding the probe. Therma Elite incorporates all the features of a Therma 1 thermometer, but with the addition of a backlight display, max/min memory function and a mode button for the selection of 0.1/1 °C/°F. The thermometer also incorporates a calibration trim function (±2 °C) which allows users to compensate for thermocouple probe errors.
