They are simple to use and provide a rapid response at a low cost and very low maintenance which all means that these detection tubes are advantageous over other analytical methods. By directly marking the calibration information on each tube, errors are prevented and accuracy is further ensured by controlling the volume of air sampled.
Operation: An air sample is drawn through a tube containing a reagent which causes a colour change. You can then read the concentration from the length of the colour stain in the reagent.
These tubes are compatible with the Honeywell piston hand pump and they are primarily of the narrow bore type. They are a reliable way to draw samples of an exact volume required for the most accurate measurements.
