This general purpose Castle noise and vibration kit incorporates both the Exilis GA2008 and the Castle SONUS GA116I.
The Exilis GA2008 Vibration Meter is a simple to use instrument, ideal for measuring acceleration, velocity and displacement. Ideal for checking fixed monitoring systems, condition maintenance prediction and other engineering operations.
The Castle SONUS GA116I is a feature packed instrument that is fully compliant with IEC 61672-1:2013 Class 1, and IEC61252: 1993. This meter gives simultaneous Leq (rms. average) personal exposure (LEpd) and peak measurement for assessments to the Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005. It has a high-specification, Class 1 measurement microphone and is cased in tough, crack resistant ABS plastic. For compliance with the Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005, the Sonus provides you with everything you need to assess Noise in the workplace.

This Noise and Vibration System kit incorporates 2 of Castles portable meters to monitor vibration, noise at work and environmental sound monitoring. Also included in the kit is the MK79 Dosemeter Plug-in Microphone, GA607 Calibrator and small kit case.
The Exilis GA2008 is a robust vibration meter capable of monitoring many types of vibration with excellent accuracy.
The small design of the Exilis means it is easily portable which allows it to be able to take vibration readings in any area with a vibration problem and store it in it's data logging system.
The uses for this instrument are far-reaching and widespread. One prime example would be a maintenance operator verifying results from a fixed monitoring system or taking measurements for maintenance prediction. Another example is a construction engineer checking that the vibration from a piling operation is not exceeding any environmental thresholds.
The Castle SONUS range of pocket sized sound level meters bring simplicity and power to the worlds of Noise at Work and Environmental sound monitoring. From a basic sound pressure meter to a combined sound and dosemeter, the range of systems covers a wide diversity of applications.
