This is the 8100 Plus pH meter and it is a three-in-one instrument which features a large, easy to read LCD display. Indicating pH over a range of 0 to 14 pH it has a resolution of 0.01 pH. The mV covers a range of -999 to 999 mV with the temperature covering a range of -39.9 to 149.9 °C and has a resolution of 0.1°C.
Both low battery indication and an optional backlight are features of the LCD display. Manual or automatic temperature compensated readings for pH and take place over the operating range of 0 to 50°C.
It is necessary to utilise a Thermistor temperature probe to automatically compensate. Incorporating an auto-power off facility which automatically turns the instrument off after ten minutes maximises the battery life. The 8100 Plus has an integrated rubber seal which ensures complete water resistance which in turn helps to reduce the possibility of damage in harsh environments.
An easy to use BNC connector and waterproof Lumberg screw-locking connector is incorporated into each unit which allows a wide range of interchangeable thermistor probes to be used. The 8100 Plus pH price excludes the electrode and probe.
